Every donation to the World of Chibuzo furthers our vision to create art and original compositions that bring together several African and indigenous musical cultures and integrate their rhythmic sensibilities.

 

Programs to support

 

New Works

Your gift can provide support for new works including (1) Choose Love, an artistic, fully immersive experience where Chibuzo Dunun shares his love-inspired compositions and creations through music, African drums, poetry and film, (2) Metamorphosis of the Blues, a new performance installation with original music that extends the blues form in a way that is innovative and danceable, (3) original music for artistic collaborations with the highly talented dance companies that partner with World of Chibuzo, and (4) soundtracks for films.

 

Artist Collective Workshops

The Cookin Wit’ Chibuzo program provides workshops for artists from all levels of experiences and disciplines, with a focus on individuals who have a limited amount of time available to explore their artistry, improve their skills, and increase their comfort level and confidence. The artist collective comes together each week to learn, create collaborative art, and connect over a delicious, healthy meal.
